Always remember yourself that it's not your fault.

Your colleague and your boss is very unprofessional. Don't be like them, don't start playing childish games. Concentrate on your work , start looking for a new job, and leave.

Any attempt to change their behavior is in vain, you can't change someone's personality (or at least it's not your responsibility to do so).

Your project aims to rate billionaires...but based on what aspect of their personality? Musk wants to rate journalists based on their credibility: do they write what is true or do they blend the truth for a better story? A yes-no rating, regardless of what your target group, makes absolutely no sense.

Great initiative, but how it is different from a collection of links for subject X? The mindmap approach is fancy but does it deliver more value than a simple tree-like folder structure (especially on mobile)? Again, I think that's a great idea but I'm not sure about the execution.

Do you remember the multi-million dollar pizza? Today, nobody wants to be the thousand dollar toilet paper guy. I believe most people buy it as an investment, with no intention to every make an actual purchase with it. What gives it value then? What will happen with the price when there are no new people who wants to buy bitcoin?

balazsdavid987 | 8 years ago | on: Ask HN: Everybody lies. How do you deal with it though?

Most people can detect lies easily, they just don't bother with confrontation so maybe you did not get better at lying, simply people started giving less weight to your words. Your relationships got easier because they become weaker and more shallow and that might be one reason why you get super depressed once in a while.

Something like that ran through my mind before I clicked on the install button. It's the small publishers and individual content creators who suffer from AdNauseam, not the big media companies. It just kills the small players and helps big companies grow bigger.

balazsdavid987 | 8 years ago | on: Ask HN: Experienced JavaScript programmers, what are your recommendations?

Recommendations...for what purpose? Please be more specific. Where are you now? What do you want to achieve? Do you want to build something from scratch or just polish your skills? Etc.

For example, I can tell you that Phaser is a very good library for game development (or similiarly, others that X is for Y), but that is pretty much useless if you are completely disinterested in that given area.
