A note from the creator: Everything, from the domain name, to the website HTML/CSS, the intro, session titles, agenda, speakers, the talks, voice, speaker appearance and video are all generated via A.I. Even the above warning was created by A.I.

I (Ben Hall) wanted to see what happened and this is the result.

This is the introduction it created:

Welcome to Synthetica, the first on-demand conference generated entirely by A.I. This groundbreaking concept is a thought experiment that explores the potential of artificial intelligence in the conference industry.

At Synthetica, all the speakers, sessions, and content are generated by AI, creating a unique and fascinating experience for attendees. The AI algorithms used by Synthetica are able to generate high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and entertaining, as well as the look, speech, and even the name of the conference itself.

The idea for Synthetica was conceived by Ben Hall, who saw an opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible with A.I. in the conference industry. While Synthetica is a concept and is not designed to be a real conference, it serves as a glimpse into the future of A.I. and how it may shape the way we experience conferences and other events.

Join us at Synthetica and discover a new world of possibilities, where A.I. is able to create and deliver content that is indistinguishable from human-generated content. Explore the latest ideas and research in the field of A.I., and learn how this technology is shaping the future of conferences and beyond.

For me it's about the community. Every language has a different mindset / way of approaching a problem. Read some groups, have a look at the various packages on github and see which community fits best with what you're personally doing.

Having contacts / friends who could help is also an advantage.

Yep, very similar - in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Timehop added this as one of there options as they already do twitter and facebook.

I use Timehop but not sure about any user facing revenue model. They do however have the last 5 years of facebook and twitter data about me so I'm sure they're making some money from that.

C# might be a great language now, but 1.0 was horrible! It was a painful experience to gain adoption within companies and frameworks on top of it (ASP+ for example) still needed to mature. The world is different now.

I predict Microsoft will push NodeJS / JavaScript / HTML5 for application development. I'm assuming this will be targeted towards the Go style community and applications. It has a lot of the same properties with Go starting to gain traction I can see why Microsoft would be exploring the space.
