LOGIQ was actually created around 2015-16 and released to Apple and Google app stores around 2017. After 3 years and approx 40K download I removed it. Some of my friends asked why and asked me to release it again. Well, why not just release it on the web, 100% free to play? That’s what I have done!
LOGIQ is built using pure HTML, CSS and JS. Why? Well for two reasons: first I wanted the “barebone” web development experience, with all the challenges and joy this gives and second when I started crafting LOGIQ the web development eco-system was not as strong and vibrant as it is today. These days I'm not a pro sw hacker, so please don’t judge my tech skills too hard. My sole focus in crafting LOGIQ was to make the best logic puzzle game my skills allow.
LOGIQ contains no ads and has zero tracking/analytics implemented. It only uses “localStorage” to keep track of levels played and other housekeeping stuff. All data stays on your phone. This will not change going forward.
What’s next? Well it’s actually not the first puzzle game I made, the first one is called RONDON (which means round in Esperanto). It’s inspired by the fantastic puzzle game Two Dots, but with this “pure logic” approach added (and some other fun stuff). I will release it, free to play, on the web in the coming month. Stay tuned!
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy LOGIQ, as much as I enjoyed crafting it!?
"Small" puzzle games are just fascinating!
I'm in the same boat as you - did LOGIQ as a side project - somehow similar to Figure, and then again. It's online here; https://puzzles.dk. In LOGIQ I generate the puzzle on the phone, e.g., every player is solving different puzzles.
Anyway - really cool work crafting Figure!
