Hey, my Slav neighbour charges his Model 3 that way!

Now, in all seriousness, EVs are for houses, not apartment buildings. If you have a driveway, and want an EV - by all means go for one.

But if you live in an apartment block where it's hard to even find parking after 7pm, then stick to ICE now.

I can’t picture objects or colour, but have vivid dreams. Also it’s normal for me to hold conversations with myself in my head. Post-covid I had a few days with no inner “voice” and it was terribly lonely.

I recently set up a new Win11 laptop and all it took was download Node and install it via the installer. You’re up and running in 90 seconds. Yarn was another 30 seconds (npm i yarn). Even Ruby works well with RubyInstaller, and you can normally develop Rails without WSL if you really want to.

This is obviously not a popular opinion, but: I think this is great news. In the world of Meta dominating social media (+ TikTok now de facto in 2nd spot), we need diversity in the field.

Twitter (X) definitely changed in the past year, but I see it as a positive change (maybe it's my bubble) - my tech feed is no longer polluted by people fighting about left vs right, Trump etc, my feed is now tech people sharing tech-related content and I love it.

I see this with course creators as well. I reported dozens of errors in a particular corse and the creator was literally annoyed at me.

> A missing person was found after a drone pilot from Croatian Mountain Rescue Service noticed his legs moving in a ditch.

Either amazing zoom and lenses on that drone, or the pilot has great eyesight. Either way, interesting story and glad to hear a life was saved.

As an inexperienced and anxious driver (from a tiny suburban / village area / town), Street View (and its alternatives) are god sent to me.

I up front plan my trip, every twist and turn, especially in densely populated areas. I'm not used to driving in dense urban environments with multi-lane streets, so knowing what's gonna happen, when, and how it's going to look is immensely important to me to keep my anxiety under control.
