Longer thrust would not be equivalent to bigger thrusts for non vertical paths, neither the arrival time or vectors once there. That's probably related.
I can also imagine that even the weight profile will change, thus leading to different paths...

on: The Kindle Index
The last 2 books I've read (the hunger games ones) were all bought and read on my 2 android devices (Galaxy Nexus and SIMless HTC Nexus). Cross-sync is awesome. I read on planes and before sleeping (you can invert the colors to have black background) The worst part is that I have an actual Kindle (albeit old)... somewhere. I don't miss it. At all. I love reading the kindle app on the phone anywhere, even buying the next one on the spot.

on: Github is down
Github Pages is down. It is remarkable how unreliable Pages has been lately. I've used Pingdom for the last month, and they have reported down time more than 10 times in the last month, with various lengths. Worrisome.

on: Being recruited in the USA
I went back to my Visa application. You are right. I´ll edit my post. There are certain cases where there is no cap. The one that applies to me is "A nonprofit research organization or governmental research organization."
8 CFR 214.2 (h) (19) (iii) (C)
My mind played tricks (back when I was researcher there was that option to increase your chances). However I do remember that presenting a legal case that my skills were worth was an important factor to get the H1B.

I went through a similar process twice. In my case it went rather smooth, but I am a scientist not a programmer. I made this post to summarize my experience:

First Github commit happened on July 29th. Today was the launch date.
As for the data itself, the model went through several consultation rounds for over 8-ish months.
