I was going to recommend sleepytime[1] to try and find a good time to go to bed at if you want to get up at 6AM. It looks like 10:30 is a good time though. Maybe try to find your sleep cycles and set your alarm for a time when you are not in deep sleep? There are some smartphone apps that are meant to help do this.

That's a problem with whoever designed the new landing page then, not a problem with Bootstrap 3.0.

I think Boner wants IMAP for fetching email from other email accounts. At the moment it can only do that with POP3.

What kind of music do you make? I've been wanting to try Ableton out but it kind of looks geared toward working with samples and MIDI. I mostly record guitars and all my instruments live with a mic. Is Ableton appropriate for recording and mixing recorded music? Would you say it is as powerful as Logic Pro 9 (my primary DAW)?

I've found FF's 3D view to be very useful for debugging. Perfect for the times when you need to find that one div that is wide enough to cause horizontal scrollbars on your responsive design.

Are you female? They have tuition assistance for women. Apparently men don't need financial assistance...

Exactly. It is a business decision that each team makes. They need to decide if it is worth the extra man-hours and resources to appease a very small group of people who make a choice to turn off a big part of the web today. The best you can do is throw up a noscript message explaining why your app needs JavaScript.

Seems like it on most links posted. After reading the post and before viewing the comments I always say to myself in my head: "Ok, let's see why I should hate this."

bti | 12 years ago | on: Rails 4.0: Final version released

Maybe a little off topic... I just started a small project using Angular and Rails, learning both from scratch as I go. I am using Rails as a purely JSON server and handling all the templates in Angular and doing requests over $http. Is it worth using Angular just for the UI niceness and using more of Rails? I need things like authentication and sessions but at its roots it is a single page app. Would any of this new Rails 4 turbolinks stuff help?

I'd like the font size to be larger on mobile. But I agree with you about javascript. Those dynamic social buttons are horrible, multiple requests and 200kb+ additional data in some cases. All for a couple buttons that no one will use.

This is so true. Compared to Chrome's, Firefox's tools are just so clunky and an eyesore. I love the fact that Google is putting so much work into their tools and constantly improving them. I will give Firefox credit for having 3D view, that's pretty cool.
