on: Context switching costs more than we give it credit for
I think it's dependent upon the end goal that one intends to achieve and ones interest in given set of task. If the end goal against different set of task is different, context switching would be hard. People working in startups do context switching seamlessly comprising of different apparently unrelated task i.e. Development, Growth Hacking, QA, Marketing etc. The point is to find a higher purpose that engages one holistically. Procrastination won't happen then.

on: Ask HN: Why don't startups outsource/offshore development if salaries are low?
The factors behind building a successful startup are more than an idea or lucrative salaries. Higher salaries doesn't make startups successful, rather building teams with perfect chemistry, culture, mutual trust and synchronization between members. For that, physical presence of team members under a single roof is very important. Hope that explains it all.

If we were able to create individual or community power grids; imagine how much infrastructure could just be removed. Maintained by the individuals owning it, instead of these stupid power companies and the way they work now.

Just tested with few snippets. Working perfect with tree viewing, minifying etc. The best thing is having all utilities at one place. Would use it for sure. An all-in-one cmd tool would be helpful also. If some one have already seen such, please share.

on: Ask HN: CS or Business?
Its not about CS, Business or Mathamatics. Those who pursue what they are good at are not necessarily ones having supportive academic background. Just be yourself, and be the best at what you do. Also it takes time to find what you are good at. The best thing would be to talk to passionate people of their relevant fields. Then see what excites you most.

With great power comes great responsibility. With the help of technology, despite our plans of paving ways to make this world a better place to live. The future still tends to be scary for many.

on: Superhero.js – One stop for JS Knowledge
This is great. Although books like 'eloquent javascript' or 'JS design patterns' prove themselves as stepping stones for one trying to get hold. However, when it comes to real world issues, blog posts by experienced professionals are ones only companions. Its good to see relevant posts in context, firstly describing problems that developers often face and then suggesting the solutions.
