I have been running Ubuntu on my 14 inch Mac for a little while now and it works great. This project here is also really exciting.
Also, Windows ARM with the recent updates also works well in the new base 14 inch. I've been using it daily, no issues.
I have nothing but praise and swiftly switching between 3 OSs sure is neat. This computer is sooo fast.
I can see myself using this Mac for many years ahead.

Same. Passive cooling works great and the heatsink is also a case. Dead quiet and no throttling.
I'm using as a media center with my cheap 75 inch TV.

Here I am 6 years without a phone number and probably make 3 calls a year.
Only thing I have is an Android tablet with a data plan and an old iPhone SE, only a data plan.

Doesn't anyone think that MacOS is pretty much abandonware at this point? I don't want to stir anything up but I don't believe Apple is putting too much effort into the OS at this time. When I boot my MacBook into MacOS (once a year, if that) I feel like I'm 10 years back in time (yes, I have the absolute latest version).
I think they're focusing most of their resources on ARM.
Or, I'm probably just crazy.
