on: DALL·E 2 vs. $10 Fiverr Commissions
DALL-E is for text-to-image, not text-to-art. This experiment is valid in terms of benchmarking the extent to which LLM understands a series of texts. For an AI researcher, this gives more fuel for the next iteration.

on: Red Dwarfs Will Be Humanity’s Last Home Before the Universe Dies
“No human ever steps in the same universe twice. For it's not the same universe and he's not the same human.”
Now extend this to billions of years. Do we still call it humanity, or use English, or same Homo Sapiens?

My early years were in rural India, so even Motorcycles were rare to sight. However, I did my dumpster diving with Books and Magazines, and collected a lot of relics.

He was able to tinker with a radio at age of 10, in 1940. I had my first electronic at 19, in 2003, growing up in India.
Today, almost anyone in the world can have access to the latest tech easily. Great minds were there and are everywhere in the world, they just didn't have access to resources. Think how fast the research monopoly of US is going to shrink.

Writing this article on a computer and servers that maintains it may have indirectly consumed tones of CO2, too, I assume.

Nice. I have been waiting for something like this. I will be monitoring closely, and once it has highlight and notes feature, I will move my books from iCloud.

Very interesting. Would love to try your application if you have your code published. I have been looking for something similar for a while.

Thank you. One thing I was looking into was integrating my user DB with subscribe/preferences/unsubscribe link that is being sent with each email. Mailchimp does it very well. I am not sure I can integrate my Django user model with sendgrid, but I will sure check it out.

I ordered in March and the shipping schedule keep getting delayed. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a typical Kickstarter or Indigogo hardware project, that never ships.
