You know why spam is back? Because it works! I didn't get my head around this until late when I started my own company. Mass contacting people is one of the easiest and successful ways. Of course, if you have the time and resources to do targeted marketing it's better, but what happens when you don't and you are an engineer who sees one or two opportunities to mass contact people?
