I know for a fact that this happens excessively at a very big, well know and well respected company. Huge levels of corruption and under the table payments for outsourcing/contract labor.

Was the threat to the traditional American way of life really the reason they were made illegal? It seems more likely that it was due to the unknown and possibly dangerous nature of the drugs. As a society we have always outlawed drugs that can drastically alter perception (aside from alcohol).

Would you say that even highly payed contract should be avoided? By highly paid I mean between 300k-400k a year? Where the job is an hourly pay that is a never ending contract? Specifically in the financial industry?
