Can you give us some info first? For example: how do you plan to select who is in, and who is not? Will there be any contract or something? Is it a problem if I'm not fluent english speaker?

No, I don't think so. Google is clever enough to recognize your title tag along with your domain name. Of course it is little harder to be the first result for a search, but that's because new domains tend to be that way. And if you make enough money you can always buy the .com counterparts.

I think for english speakers the .rs suffix can be interesting (e.g. love.rs - already taken, but hey). In my opinion uncommon domain names are ok, because nowdays you don't have to remember the full domain name to find the site what you are looking for.

I tried this out. I think it is really good idea, but really bad implementation. I wanted to draw something, and save it. But I had to login first. If you log in, you lost your drawing. Then I redraw it from scratch, then clicked on the save, and the server went down, so again, lost everything. Sometimes the cursor draws without any click, and ruins all your previous work, and you can't turn it off (maybe a bug). Then I tried other way. What if I just draw a small part, and save it? Before save it automatically cropped my pic for best fit (if you resize your drawing area, you lost everything).

So, for about the tenth time, I finally finished my "nyan cat", and published it, to see what's gonna happen? Some time after, I got an email, that they refused to publish it, and gave me some bullsh*t (one or more of the following) reasons. So one, or more? Why don't they tell me specifically? And some of the reasons were hurtful for someone, who tried so hard to finish something.

Anyway... As I sad before, I like the idea, but the implementation is pretty flawed, and painfully slow.

csaba | 13 years ago | on: Everybody Hates Firefox Updates

I mostly use windows 8 now, and firefox there simply does not works! Maybe it is only on my machine, I don't know, and I don't really care anymore. I really wanted to test the new non-memory eating firefox, but if tabs are disappearing, and flickering in a weird way (some random image appears instead of the tabs), than I can't use it.

csaba | 13 years ago | on: Ask HN: PHP coders, what's preventing you from changing language?

For me the biggest challenge is that at the company that I work for is too strict in trying out "unknown" technologies. So I can only learn in my free time. I don't really have any real project ideas in which I can try out my knowledge, so I forget the most of what I learned a few weeks ago. I think it's hard to change, when your job ties you to php. And in my country (Hungary) anything other than php, or java for web development is pretty unknown.
