Hey female frontend engineer here from Melbourne, Australia. I've been coding for about 5 years now and from what I have noticed (change roles every 1-2 years), women don't get pushed into frontend, they choose to.

A couple of months ago I launched https:weddingbird.co and I've been trying to rank on Google with no success. I've blogged, made sure my page has good SEO, submitted to Google search console and shared it on multiple platforms (HackerNews, IndieHacker, ProductHunt, Reddit and various smaller sites).
