Backed by $6 million in angel funding, Help.com is building the next generation of customer service software. We're looking for talented and passionate full stack and front end software engineers with a few years of work experience to join our small-but-growing team at our downtown Austin office.
We are hiring full stack software engineers and a senior frontend engineer (Backbone, Angular, etc.) to join our engineering team of 8.
We are predominately in the JavaScript/Node.js ecosystem, but have developed a microservice architecture that gives us immense flexibility in our choice of languages and tools. (We've authored code in JavaScript, Java, and even Haskell.) The engineers on the team make technical decisions and have full authority and responsibility for their work. It's collaborative and challenging, and very rewarding.
In addition to competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, and equity in an early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to make an impactful contribution to both the product and the team. You will also get to work with some extremely talented and friendly folks who come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We're learning a lot from each other.
Email douglas.hanna at help.com with any questions (or just to say hello). Job listings and application information can be found here: https://jobs.lever.co/help.com.

We're a new, but well funded (recently closed $6 million seed round) company based in downtown Austin. We're setting out to build software that helps companies delight their customers at enterprise scale. Our founding team has significant experience in this space and have both had successful exits.
We are looking for creative, motivated, and flexible software engineers experienced with web development, particularly Node.js.
We're also looking for a multi-talented designer.
All experience levels, from new grad to director/VP level are interesting to us as we build out our team. We'll also consider interns willing to move to Austin for a semester.
If you don't live in Austin, we are happy to assist with relocation.
You can learn more at http://help.com.

All positions at A Small Orange are REMOTE, but if you're in the Research Triangle / Raleigh-Durham area, you are welcome to work from our office in downtown Durham.
All positions include competitive pay, insurance, 401k, a variety of other perks (free web hosting), and more.

I was in NYC a few weeks ago and a friend had the app and was able to change it. It was really cool. We could see it pretty clearly from his place in Long Island City.
I don't know how exactly he got an invite, but it wasn't too special. We also talked about how it would make for a great date idea.
