I noticed that with proxmox, my SSD wear out was going up about 1-3% a month.
There are things you can do to minimize this even with ZFS tho in terms of arc cache and setting syslog to log to memory instead of disk etc.
Now i get about 1-2% every 6 months.

By "Observe" dont they mean the act of any photon "hitting/interacting with" the system collapsing it into a known/predictable state.
Not specifically a "intelligent" observer per se.

Recently got back into playing Diablo Immortal because i got a new m4 ipad, was playing with a standard nintendo switch controller for 2 weeks fine just doing standard story quest/leveling then banned for "Severe Exploitation - Automation (Botting), Hacks, or Third-Party Software".
I tried to appeal but just automatically rejected and no recourse or way to even know what they think i did wrong besides that vague statement above.
I'm 100% sure i didnt do anything that would count as cheating, was just playing the game normally on an unjailbroken device, never interacted with another person in the game either.
Yet the chat is full of bots spamming stuff that dont seem to get banned.
Luckily i got banned before i decided to spend any money on it besides $8 for the battlepass.

One thing i often do when i forget one of my passwords, is go into chrome, goto the webpage corresponding to the login of the thing in question and let it autofill, then i turn the password area to a plain text area in the HTML editor.
I've always thought this kind of bypasses most checks you get if you try to go into the password db in the browser it self.

Not too much, like $4k extra a month i think, noticeable but not the end of the world.
I assume a smaller place would just beg AWS for forgiveness and probably get it.

Once one of our devops engineers was testing a script with nohup yes > output.
The /home directory was mounted to an autoexpanding EFS on AWS.
23.4tbs and 2 months later we noticed the bill :)

IE if you have a Server on amazon running a newer kernel with the patches but then that underlying hardware is also running the newer kernel?
