I think that was a smart choice too. It's good that they could see through all the hype with the more recent languages and pick SQL. interesting choice indeed. Not sure how it scales though.

I really don't think they reject based on "conflict of interest". I don't remember the name of the companies but I've seen similar companies in different batches but they've been a few years apart.
