on: Tool for trying out backgrounds from subtlepatterns.com
Thanks. I thought about the ability to select the element. I've got an idea for how to implement it and that's the first update I plan on making. Also I plan on having a github page up for this soon.

on: Show HN: My First App (Skill Sketch) is in the App Store
Right now the app has around 150 predefined "scribbles" that are randomly sized and placed around the canvas. I'm working on making them randomly rotated as well.

on: Bad jQueryMobile Back Button
Thanks, I didn't see that. I tend to like the back button, I just think they could have done it better. I think I probably will end up putting together some type of array driven navigation, where I can provide the workflow ahead of time.

I built it RoR on the heroku system.
As for the privacy policy, I've been meaning to put that together. On the site, nothing is shared. Your information is entirely private.
Understandable about the posterous link. It's just a link to my blog.
Thanks for the feedback.

for the main ideas, I just use a new book. As for subtopics and switching them around, I would use the chapters section, which is completely sortable.

Just a quick update, about 10 people have already emailed me, so if you're interested let me know, so that if I have to find us a conference room somewhere I'll have time to do it.

I think that at least one other person I've gotten an email from is in the Eagan area, and I work in the South Saint Paul area. Hope that helps.

Currently I'm checking with people to see if sometime later next week would work for people?
Right now I'm thinking we meet at a starbucks or a caribou, unless we get a lot of people and then I'll find a conference room somewhere.
Send me an email and I'll add you to the list I'm compiling.

on: The Will To Slow Down
Every time I go to start a new project I have the dilemma of wanting to try something new, while at the same time wanting to produce something quickly. This is my take on how it's affecting my current project.

Here's a link to my new novel writing software project and the reasons I think it's going to be successful. I'm curious to know whether you all would consider this a success as well?

nope, just php. If it turns out to get some hits I might, rebuild it on the App Engine with python, but for now I just wanted to test the idea.
