Britain First is not for or against any religion. It's for traditional white British culture against anything new or brown. They're full of hate.

They should be allowed to speak but they ain't borrowing my megaphone. Good on Facebook for feeling the same (at last).

Yes it originated hundreds of millions of years ago. And this new research indicates it was probably in China. (The land not the civilisation.)

drb311 | 8 years ago | on: Yeast Probably Originated in China

The article is saying that all yeast originated in the area we now call China, long before any civilisation appeared there.

It's not saying the Chinese invented it. The Chinese might have been the first to find a use for it. But that's not what this article is about.

>>Hey Jane, I need your input on how to prioritize my current work. Can you provide guidance on where I should focus?

>>Bug XYZ was assigned to me and it's taking longer to complete because we have a dependency on Vendor ABC completing a change to their web service. This is impacting the commitment to my team on Feature 123 because we are near the end of our sprint.

>>Lemme know.

Yes

Just get rid of the dialpad and let us use the keyboard to dial numbers. Google Keyboard already has a dialpad-style layout and you can choose to centre it or move it to the left or right thumbzone.

We already use the keyboard to type numbers and it works much better than a full screen dial pad.

drb311 | 9 years ago | on: ‘Five Second Rule’ for Food on Floor Is Untrue, Study Finds

If you really wanted to test the five second rule, you'd have to be broader. Who is overall better off?

1. The person who NEVER eats food off the floor 2. The person will ALWAYS eats food off the floor 3. The person who follows the 5-second rule

I wouldn't be surprised if the 5 second rule gives its followers a net benefit. You're slightly more likely to get sick, but you waste less food and live a less paranoid life.

I'm sticking with it, but not for watermelon.

Discovering commands by trial and error isn't much fun because the fall back action -- a Google search for the words you said -- is so boring.

The conversational UI in text adventure games was fun to explore because the fall backs were sometimes funny.
