Natural disasters are also part of nature. It doesn't follow that I should want to be hit by a tsunami because of this.

It doesn't matter if we're part of nature. The negative affects are enough to justify not allowing it to happen when possible.

A large quantity of my games are outright terrible to play on my steam deck. I have my games divided into categories based on if they're worth playing on it or not. For more intense games where the framerate is abysmal and audio stutters, I avoid using it. That or for games that I want the extra smoothness and visual fidelity. There are many, many games that are like this. It includes older ones too.

Solar panels would be nowhere near as effective far away from a star. Building things as far out as Jupiter or to traverse interstellar areas can't rely on them.

When my Android phone broke in the past I was lent an iPhone 6s to use in the meantime. It was absolutely slow and many things didn't work. I ended up getting rid of it because having no phone was better than using it.
