very cool. I like how you've optimised for a frictionless signup. The LinkedIn link is a smart way to leverage people's existing profiles. Is the connection between brandme.io and linkedin live? I.e. if I update my linkedin profile will my brandme site auto update?

I've recently compromised and started using a hyphen in my domains. Any ideas on the potential downsides for this? It certainly helps with finding reasonable .coms without resorting to dropping vowels or weird spelling combinations.

It's been a long time since I've been on the open job market, but I remember receiving the 'make your resume stand out from the others in the pile' advice. I even remember using heavier slightly textured stock for a while to test its effectiveness. From my own experience the only thing that really made a difference is being recommended by someone. All other tactics basically amounted to nothing.

I wouldn't underestimate what people might respond to. A few years ago if you told me a photosharing app that deleted the image you shared after 5 seconds would refuse 2 buyout offers in the billion dollar range then I'd call you crazy :)
