elkynator | 5 years ago | on: How to pass a remote technical interview in 2020

Talking with dozen recruiters and interviewers and going through hundreds of technical interviews in past 6 months, I noticed there are few patterns where engineers make mistakes when attending technical interviews. I wrote a guide on how engineers can prepare for the technical interview. I'd love to hear any feedback what has been working for you guys and share any tips you might have.

elkynator | 6 years ago | on: Rejected from YC (Again)

Let's be honest. Even solely from money and evaluation point, being accepted to YC increases your evaluation for your startup significantly. I'm not advocating that this is why you need to apply, but FOMO on YC companies is real among VC's. On demo day same companies who are pre-seed or just started get new rounds on $15Mil+ evaluation. From what I have heard and seen the biggest value is advice, but getting so much hype to raise big money is not bad for founders.

elkynator | 6 years ago | on: Startups from Y Combinator’s S19 Demo Day 2

I can say that Tandem is the one which strikes me the most. I had a privilege to test the product in early beta and you can see the benefit of such solution. Basically Discord for work which I believe will be adopted soon by many companies.
