Chronological timeline has not been removed. It is now shown more clear under the Following tab instead of the old starry icon.
My guess is the 3rd party clients need to stop filtering out the ads or risk making the suspension permanent.

The practice known as curtailment, is a way for miners to help electricity grids. The miners' steady demand ensures power producers are bringing in revenue to offset costs, but can power off when demand from other sources is high, such as during winter storms.

yes, the entire reason a bank is needed in all online transactions is because nobody trusts YOU to not double spend, but they do trust the bank to make sure they don't let you spend your money twice.

DNS is already decentralized, it's one of the most decentralized projects on the internet.
And while domains (not DNS) are less decentralized, it's all standardised and protocol based. If you want decentralized domains you need to champion for alternative DNS roots because all the technology is already there, just change the config file and get the people to do the same. Which is less effort than creating a whole new "blockchain" based system that does the same but slower.

This guy is exactly what's wrong with the crypto space. It's a fundamental misunderstanding of the strengths and weaknesses of blockchains.
Putting all those things he listed on a blockchain is the perfect example of “That's not a blockchain, that's a sequence of poor engineering decisions!”
Everything he listed can already be done with basic software engineering. Add a blockchain to these things makes it slow, adds unnecessary complexity and fake decentralization where its not even needed.
Crypto is full of Ape NFTs and casino gambling because there is nothing useful in blockchains other than removing trusted third parties.
Bitcoin added something new, crypto asked what more can we do with this? The answer is not much.

replay would be if someone legitimately unlocks the car and the attackers records the communication in order to replay it later.
relay is when the attacker takes the bluetooth signal of the owner in gym and relays it to the car in the parking lot.

Over 20 years later I saw it on Marktplaats (Dutch eBay) and I immediately bought it, I haven't touched Lego in 20 years but this was the holy grail that I could never have as a child.

The keycard is just a back-up that you can keep in your wallet. Unlocking with the app (phone) happens automatically with bluetooth when you are near the car, no internet required.
The main reason to use the app is if you want to unlock remotely for someone else using your car.

The protocol is configured to aim for 10 minute block intervals. If in a 2 week period there too many or too little blocks the difficulty to find a new block is adjusted for the next 2 weeks.
This drop is caused by miners moving from China to other countries.

Because having bitcoins preserves value, you might see it as spending but it is actually saving. They can still choose to spend it on hiring people if they wanted.
