When it doesn't happen with any other makes, yes! Cost cutting out industry standard anti-theft tech should be the car companies responsibility. Also....17 other local prosecutors, not just Baltimore.

Oh boy, how did that play out? I feel as though it's a give a mouse a cookie situation with people power tripping like that, I can't imagine it resolving well until they leave...

Except almost anything you do can be the beginning of that engine. Joining sports team, hobbyist group for anything will lead you to meet people, through whom you either meet or hear about other events. Strong network effects once you get going but you do need to have time to show up consistently and in a good spot

Great comment, feel like this puts into words what I see in interactions on here sometimes that puts me off. I might say that especially on Hacker News there are people who assume they're by default more knowledgeable than others.

That's interesting, I'd say that's one of the least likely fundamental differences, especially with these large 10k+ employee companies. Those differences in hiring should average out when compared to things like timing entering their markets, monopolistic advantages, regulatory capture that are external to the company.

Anybody can do it once, not everybody can do it once. It's just luck of the draw, most won't be able to, but they could.

I replaced my mbp battery recently, it wasn't too bad. Apple also quoted me needing to replace logic board, etc. due to some water damage indicators tripped. Just go slow and it's only ~<$200 for battery.
Not to hold you back from getting a new framework, I replaced my battery but am still looking at one of these too!

Your point send valid, but architect/builder is usually the bouncing back and forth type relationship though, plans are usually half baked and the surveys aren't right so stuff has to change. And builders are the ones on site every day overseeing, usually the architects just check in.

So basically impossible = on private driveways or when they're doing improvements? This seems like a mindset I see a lot of thinking you need more car than you really do

It also depends on prioritizing high quality work. Plenty of places would be happy to have you at below optimal efficiency for twice the time to make up for communication inefficiency.

Which you could work around by archiving and then unarchiving the programs. I remember having to do a soft factory reset for one class before exams, rather than just clearing programs. At least they took the policy to its logical extension

Alternative narrative: Online services are a winner take all market, so early players who survived the dot com crash due to great product leveraged that to gain monopoly share. Without government intervention they will dominate these markets to the detriment of the consumer (and the abuse of their data/privacy)
