on: Dear Facebook: Please learn how to design Android apps that don't suck
absolutely! I just visit fb with the browser! no problems there and works pretty good! And if you realllly need a icon, you can always add one to your homescreen, nothing like a web shortcult (already availbale with the built in browser and i think firefox will add it soon)! Done!

on: Dear Facebook: Please learn how to design Android apps that don't suck
It's pretty bloated and slow, no point using it! i dont need a 40+megs app running all the time with full permissions on the background, makes no sense! the facebook messenger is the same thing! and thats besides the need to "access all my contacts", NO i want facebook contacts on facebook and phone contacts on the phone for all the obvious reasons!

on: Microsoft’s cloud service SkyDrive is great, and no one has noticed
i wouldnt say its great, its on the middle of the pack, there are things that still drag it down, there is a limit on the size of each file and number of files you can sync, also the software runs pretty slow and syncs pretty slow, its pretty stable on windows 7 but it kinda freaks out a lot on OSX and finally they actively scan the contents of your files in the cloud, and that is kinda were i draw the line, one thing is fully encripted drive, another is what dropbox does a sort of mix of security and ease, but microsoft goes out of its way to go through your files, thats a big brother nono, on the flip side, they do have realy cheap storage (i think google drive storage is ridiculous, especially comparing with dropbox) and their office/picture application support is probably the best, so i wouldnt say skydrive is all that great, its just ok.

on: Create your own local Dropbox with AeroFS
Cool review from Ars as always, but Aerofs by staying this long closed, is kinda slowly killin itself, There is pleanty of added competition now, even from the big guys (dropbox, gdrive, skydrive,...), and now there is even for the exact same functions that Aerofs does, like Cubby... and im using Cubby for like 2 months... and it works pretty good, got the invite in 2 days, while i've been waiting for my Aerofs invite since like the begining of the year, for me its vaporware.
