Also, it made me rotate my phone into landscape view. I guess that's one way to not have to deal with responsive design

This talks about concerns with piping curl into bash. It doesn't address any issues with just curling arbitrary data

on: I'm so sorry everyone. Or: why I'm switching to Cloudflare
At my college (Rochester Institute of Technology), every device on ethernet and wifi gets assigned a public IP address from the /16 they own, with no firewall. I host my server in a club's server room. No cost or setup besides registering the MAC address, just a public IP address.

It sounds like the app always requests the weather in Celsius from the API before converting to Farenheit and rounding up

I typically see Rust marketed as a better replacement for C. In what cases isn't it a practical replacement?

How does this compare to Datadog's APM[0]? APM looks like it has far more features and is already integrated with Datadog.

on: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Info from King County and Seattle
I'm from the Seattle area, and while I'm currently at college on the other side of the country, the rest of my family lives in King County. I won't be going back home until August, but seeing all the news about how bad it is back home is kinda scary. Rationally, I know my family is all healthy, middle aged adults or teenagers and are at a pretty low risk, and are fortunate enough to be able to afford health care if needed, but that doesn't stop me from worrying that I'll be going back home to a smaller family

Ten Thousand is possibly my favorite strip from xkcd. I always share it with people when they're learning something they feel dumb for not knowing.
