For the adventurous:

1) open about:config 2) set gfx.webrender.enabled to true 3) restart Nightly

For the even more adventurous:

1) open about:config 2) set gfx.webrender.enabled to true 3) set gfx.webrendest.enabled to true 4) restart Nightly

geeknik | 11 years ago | on: What happened to all the non-programmers?

I'm a sys admin and security researcher and I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the word. Nor do I have a CS related college degree. I'm an anomaly in the tech world. ;)

geeknik | 11 years ago | on: Ask HN: What have you achieved in January 2015?

I found an OpenSSL bug which was assigned CVE-2015-0208 (details forthcoming). I feel like that is a good achievement. Follows on the heels of the PHP5 bug I found in December(CVE-2014-9427).

I've only seen 2 requests in my logs:

I'd love to work for Flipboard, been using your Android app ever since you released it. Not interested in relocating though, so how can I change the 'probably not' into a 'hell yeah' for working remotely as an Operations Engineer? =)

geeknik | 12 years ago | on: Ask HN: How do you manage your Twitter timeline?

I like the Android app called Fynch.

The official description says "Fynch enhances your Twitter experience by automatically analyzing your timeline for interesting patterns of activity. It is intended to be a tool that decomposes your timeline into smaller sets of tweets that are easier to consume. Fynch is great for identifying extremely high rates of activity, trending topic mentions, and the tweets of less active users in your following list."

geeknik | 13 years ago | on: Why isn't New Orleans Mother's Day parade shooting a 'national tragedy'?

Because it wasn't a false flag operation perpetrated by the government, it was just a normal act of violence that happens every day across the country. Sandy Hook = False flag operation to start disarming the populace. Boston = False flag operation to see how easy it would be to declare martial law in a major US city. =)
