Used a simplified implementation of the old SFinGe algorithm, written in C++ and compiled down to WASM to run in the browser. I am skipping the "noising/rendering" stage of the original algo, and providing a vectorized image of the fingerprint. Folks can post-process as they please : )

This was a pretty quick build! Uses a Raspberry Pi Zero, Particle Boron, cheap LCD display and val.town for the backend.
Re: legality - I can't find anything that says it's illegal in MA but pls let me know if I am incorrect. I've only seen warnings against using colors reserved for emergency vehicles.

The RP2040 is running firmware. It is inside the mouse. It's now the mouse's firmware!

Yeah, I didn't initially have multiple ways to sort but added that in later yesterday so this is probably a good idea as a default. Though it would cancel out the real-time leaderboard aspect (projects move up automatically) a little bit. And truthfully getting any eyes on older projects on the internet is such a W in my book. I'ma think about this more, good suggestion.
