I believe you're missing the fact that most people use a lot of Google services so it already has a pretty good model of who you are and what you're interested in without even the need of any shady tracking methods.

I have been fascinated by Machine Learning for a while now but never got around to it until recently. I have landed on Kaggle almost by accident and started doing the courses. Loving it! Give it a go. They also have competitions on different datasets and leaderboards to make it more fun.

Notion has been getting a lot of hype recently as Evernote, Trello, Todoist, etc., killer. Switched to it recently. It has a bigger learning curve compared to the other apps, fetlt unconfortable at first a bit but now I'm glad to have everything in one place with less confusion.
