they do. But honestly, from business point of view, it maybe not a good idea to charge fractional amount like that because Stripe or other payment gateways will charge us 3.9 usd minimum per transaction

We should license as CC-BY-cy-4.0. it clearly mentions that they cant commercialize. Btw, when they self host, they cant access your source code, right? unless you opensource your code?

For my case, I killed projects several time. The most recent one was because when the deadline passed, the team couldnt deliver it properly. We needed more time to fix all of the bugs, while the market already shipped better products. So its better to call it quit, and focus on other products.
