Why not just stop visiting FB?

You might lose access to things you logged in with "Login with Facebook" or lose out on some connections that are only on FB. Doom-scrolling FB is a bad idea, but whenever I log in to FB, I do it with a purpose (usually to text someone on FB)

That's a big jump from the time when typing "facebook" in the address bar used to almost be a reflex on opening a new tab.

Is there a good screencast series about people doing stuff in Emacs? Not like a tutorial like "press C-x" etc. I just want to know what is possible, or what people mean by "I did _everything_ in emacs".

Can you give an example of this (with the real link to compare)? Tracking info can be added to the URL but should not break the page.

There are extensions and addons that remove the tracking data for you, you might want to give them a try.

Puzzle Streak/Storm/Racer are the only equivalents that Lichess lacked from Chess.com, but so happy to see them added (like 1-2 months ago?)

Lichess is responsible for most of my chess progress through matches, puzzles, analysis board. Excellent piece of software.

Did you ever receive complaints that your emails are ending up in spam folder for Gmail/Outlook/<other big email provider>?

How about you receiving a lot of spam emails?

What kind of SD card are you using? How many writes/transfer speed? The fact that the card can die on you and lose 400 GB of data gives me nightmares.

I got a Rock Pi recently and it supports M.2 slot and eMMC that goes up to 64 GB, this makes me less nervous.

> What do we do about this?

Step 1 would be to groom people to leadership positions. How is it that an organization of 35+ years doesn't have a good rank next generation who will take the baton from the old guard? I bet you can't name another member of the FSF. For Linux kernel, I can think of GHK, for Ruby I know quite a few people, but for FSF, the bus factor seems to be 1.

Even without all the accusations, FSF should have a leadership they can fallback to. I feared for FSF after Stallman (before the controversy), now I fear for FSF, full stop.

Isn't this a terrible language for a computer language? Let alone I have to search "Ruby programming" or "Python programming", "Kernel" is not even the top result for "Kernel language".

Naming things, indeed the hardest thing in CS.
