on: LastPass breach gets worse
I use KeepassXC too, and Dropbox for database sync. Probably not very secure, but I store root password only in my head, and secret key offline. Never used mobile client though, not sure if they can be trusted.

on: ReactOS
I'm curious now, is this project has a purpose to get some share of users from Windows? Or is it just a fun/hobby project?
I'm asking it because the OS itself is 25 years old, however
it is not really ready for everyday usage.
Funny thing, I have seen it once on the screen of a cashbox in a supermarket in Kyiv. However, it is not clear if they really used ReactOS, or just their logo/graphics to avoid buying license for Windows.

Laravel is great for prototyping and fast building. If you want to make a big application with Laravel, it's better to use Symfony-like approach with interfaces and DI (you can do it by using Laravel).
What I personally do not like in Laravel is their ORM, too much magic calls involved.

Mac with Linux support would be the best tech product ever.

Then I will miss a big pile of content. Netflix is very limited in some regions.

on: Ask HN: How many of you are open to Piracy again?
It depends. Games and music - no, I'm glad to pay for Spotify subscription, and I'm happy to buy a game every once in a while. Movies and TV shows - yes, if I cannot find them in Netflix. Sometimes I want to watch something, and it's not available in Netflix in my region, or not on Netflix at all. What choices do I have?

on: Show HN: I built a feed of engineering blogs from top tech companies
I have increased the size of the container. But it's still too narrow on the mobile, I will work on that over the weekend. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! I added them. Image is a bit ugly, but I will work on that.

This an awesome idea, thanks! I'm planning to add tags first, and after that short summaries.

I don't know their motivation, but most of the tech companies have their own blogs, and I just parse their RSS feeds. I'm leaving rating of the content quality to a reader.

I find blogs by myself and parse their RSS feeds.

on: Omega-3 supplements don't provide as much benefits as it claimed on the internet
Haven't watched it, but I have some skepticism about both of them. Dr. Rhonda Patrick runs some "fitness courses" company, and Dr. Bill Harris is founder of OmegaQuant, which as I understand profits from Omega-3 tests.

About eating fish, it may be just a correlation. People who eat seafood may have better lifestyle, or live in rich countries (The Netherlands, Japan, Norway, etc.)

Sorry, I didn't mean to claim that article that you sent makes false claims. It was just fun seeing a comment that claims about not well supported article, following the link, and seeing the same comment. Nothing more.
