From what I can tell between 10,000 and 100,000 species are becoming extinct each year. Maybe we should tax the rich to save them all? How can we save 100,000 each year. Do we think Capitalism is causing these extinction?

If one claims to have growth experience. Enough to create a blog post about it. And one can't figure out the appropriate strategy to make a return on your head count - then stop pretending . A growth team should be designed to meet the business requirements and make a return (on top of your head count). Because one can't create an effective strategy to produce a return, doesn't mean you toss out the entire idea of creating Growth Teams. Because you failed - it doesn't mean its bad. It wasn't bad for Facebook.

I read in this one report where the life expectancy from 1890-1960 increased from 40 years (of age) to 65. The highest increase ever in human history. During this time the US was going through an industrial revolution I believe? I'm not sure. With tons of factories and smoke stacks polluting the air. Yet quality of life was fine? I guess if we pair that with plastic falling from the sky there is nothing to worry about? Also the article mentioned the plastic particles were super small. Not sure if that would really hurt anyone. Likely marginal? What do everyone else think?

I read a report that wasn't sponsored by the gov. It suggested most of our fears of climate changes are null. Mainly it suggested our current velocity of technology advancement can propel us off of planet earth. I guess it's suggesting as the climate heat increases its marginal bc we can simply leave the planet and go to another. If we look at the work elon musk this isn't too far away - the article claimed. I'll try to find the URL. So I guess everything will be ok.

I think the spirit of what Syon is writing about is the root issue of taxes. It's not about paying for education, roads or safety. Syon is addressing the root issue of taxes in his view is about force. Why must citizens of a free country be coerced? Thats the premise he things most struggle with. If you want to solve for paying for education, roads or safety toss this issues into the private sector and Syon can agree the quality of those services would go up and the USA would be more free. So it just depends if you believe in freedom. Some do. Some do not.

Has anyone seen predictions that would provide a good estimate of when everyone would die? My sense is if we can surface this data to poor people quickly they might have time to save money and move to Northen Canada where most are saying the weather would be perfect as the climate heat average index increases. The more we share this on FB the faster we can save everyone. I think we can all agree rich people can stay in their original location bc they will have money to pay for AC. Just my 2 cents here.
