Definitely this, I have a Thinkpad with Ubuntu 18.04, built in 4k display with 2 external 2k displays. I spent way too much time trying to get it to work. I just resorted to change magnification each time I dock/undock

Agreed absolutely every element of this game is fun. They struck the perfect balance between ease of entry and play and a massive and complex world. They avoided pitfalls of many other RPG games that add complexity at the cost of fun. They also learned to not completely hold your hand as many other Nintendo titles have in the past.

Assuming that your are not in the middle of nowhere, it is typically best to stick with a somewhat local or regional co-lo facility. Discovering who else has space there is typically a good indicator or quality. Find out where your local hospital or university has their boxes. Keep in mind this is your hardware and it will occasionally need a new HD or fan. You do not want to fly across the country for that. Also their are a wide range of security options for co-los, so weigh those options.

+1 for PIA UK exit nodes work for watching BBC. Plus as a bonus they have recently implemented an option that block ads and malware on a DNS level. There are apps for iOS, macOS and Windows. It can also work without the app and be setup on a router level to protect the entire network.

> And then there's the fact that this guy had contacts to criminals that can create fake passports.

The fact the you are reading this on HN probably means that any one of us could have contacts capable of creating fake passports. I am certain that most tech savvy people with the right motivation could easily learn to use dark net tools and purchase fake documents within a few hours. This is 2016, contact with criminals no longer means hanging out in seedy drug dens or back alleys.
