This seems to be a common problem with web-based business applications. Little, if any, consideration seems to be give to user efficiency. I consider that a critical part of UX, but I seem to be in the minority.

IANAL (anywhere), but when you sponsor someone you're listed as a sponsor. I'd say that social credit has some intrinsic value.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like they're misusing the term in the same way that Apple does with iMessage.

Please clarify the definition of 'user' for billing purposes. Specifically, do end-users (with no edit permissions) count?

This looks great and I could definitely see using it, but I'd like to know more about the company before providing credit card info and potentially using this tool for sensitive data.

Looks like they've removed the summary statistics in favor of a timeline. Still, it's nice to have it all searchable in one place. It also provides a nice place to check that I have all of the handy features turned on.

on: Urban trees 'live fast, die young' compared to those in rural forests
>
The role of street trees in the urban carbon cycle is complex as the environmental costs and benefits of street trees evolve over the course of a tree’s life, with emissions associated with establishment often precluding net greenhouse gas benefits in the early stages of a street tree’s life cycle. The carbon costs associated with nursery production, planting, irrigation, pruning, removal, and disposal are high. Street trees must survive for several decades (26–33 years) to attain carbon neutrality. That's much longer than I would have expected.

The vast majority of the general public has no idea that Amazon is a logistics company (I'm including AWS in that definition) that also happens to do retail stuff. It's similar to how GM was for a long time a finance company that also happened to make cars.

I'd like to see what the numbers would look like if all of the JetBrains IDEs were combined. Given the methodology, you can't just add them up, but I suspect, taken as a single entity, they'd be the top. That seems the more appropriate comparison, given that they're all essentially IntelliJ with different plugins.
