I agree with the sentiment. Most people view them as distinct frameworks. I believe the use of the name Angular for major version 2+ helped retain a lot of users. I've seen a lot of uninformed devs and managers assume that because they already have so much code in AngularJS that Angular is the next logical tool for their team to use.

Micro Focus in Provo, UT provides offices. The last company I worked for was a mature startup with an open floor plan. Most of the noise complaints were mitigated by noise cancelling headphones which were purchased for each engineer.

Your experience with VS and your desires for Rider reflect my own. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Visual Studio still a 32 bit application? That would definitely limit the utility of those 128GB.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned pair programming. You may also try to propose Lunch and Learn sessions where an expert on a particular portion of your project teaches the rest of the team about their area of expertise (how to work in it, architecture, where code is located, etc...). Don't be afraid to ask someone to teach you or a group. Chances are good that multiple other engineers could benefit from the same information.
