Sure human populations are increasing and quality of life is going up too, but what about the environment and biodiversity of the planet? We hit peak-human a lonnng time ago if you care about anything beyond how many you can pack on the planet. Toggle through these graphs and you will see everything is collapsing except humans: http://wikipop.org/species/rhinos

Beautiful presentation of the data... I'd love to see the creators add additional species...
Comparing human population graphs to nearly every other species on the planet makes for an interesting exercise - however unsurprising the results:

https://wikipop.org/species/rhinos
Etc. Then in addition to estimations on human death dates they could add estimations on the date each species will go extinct.

Hey All - we would love to get any feedback / critique on WikiPop or hear thoughts on this topic (extinction / wildlife conservation)... The organizations we are highlighting are doing great work and while some are well known others deserve a lot more exposure and support... Thanks!

I have also struggled for a long time to get what I want out of existing personal knowledgebase solutions, despite loving many individual elements of the products that are already out there like Evernote, Workflowy and Dropbox/.txt files etc. This pain was particularly acute in college while drinking from the firehose of information, and not having a tight solution, such that years on so much value was simply lost and forgotten. I have been building the product I wished I had - Naked Knowledge. It would be great to get interested parties' feedback.
