on: Google Bar: The next stage in Google redesign
I'm really quite sick of Google nowadays. I don't want any of this new stuff they have been introducing.

on: Windows 8 to have built-in anti-virus - there's good and bad news
Pig and Hungry hungry hippo eh? Couldn't have put it better myself. So tired of seeing this crap foisted upon people who don't know any better. While I see the author's point about it being a bad thing for all users to be protected by the same antivirus software, I must say that MSE is the only antivirus software I've ever been comfortable using. I didn't use antivirus software for well over a decade, but MSE has such a small footprint and is so unobtrusive that it's now a question of 'Why not?'.

on: JVM 5 is the new IE6
You're right, I've never heard of backward compatibility that didn't work flawlessly. I know very little of Java, but if the backward compatibility isn't perfect then I could understand why companies would be hesitant to upgrade.

on: Google+ is now available with Google Apps
Now if only they could get their multiple account sign-in feature polished. I use one Google account for Youtube, one for Google groups, and then my Apps account for email and plus. Why can't I set my preferred account for each service?
The day I went to Google.com and noticed I was signed in was the first sign of trouble. Why do I have to have my account used everywhere I go? I don't want you to log me in for searching when I check my email.

VB.net isn't terrible. It enabled me to transfer all of my programming knowledge from VB6 into the .NET world, then move on to C# and ultimately other languages. Thank god for VB.net as far as I'm concerned.
