This dataset is definitely a treasure, and I love visualizing data. That said, i think what's missed when this is used as an argument for visual analysis is the idea of quantitatively identified outliers. If you take the descriptive statistics of p99, they most definitely will not be the same across these four sets. Visual analysis is a valuable dimension for data exploration, but it's a bit of a strawman to infer that "quantitative analysis could go no further, only visual analysis could figure this out"

Can the suspects lie? Is the rating at the end based on minimum numbed of clues required, or just on total number of clues used? Is the rating impacted by number of available choices when i guessed?
There were a lot of time slots, and the clues did not intersect very much. I went through 17 clues before i guessed, and there were still logical options. Can we have wordle-bot analyze our play at the end and tell us how we did?

How is posting this link a legit use of hacker news? I get that Hacker news is often used for important product releases/updates, but when it comes to Nvidia and AMD, this feels like product placement. Nothing in this is particularly newsworthy hardware, and we're talking about the coke vs pepsi of the pc gaming adapter world. If it was someone reviewing it, that would be different, but this is right to the vendor. I expect more from the mods.
