Anybody has some extension to change colors when background is black and text is white? I don't know if this is common or not, but I just cannot look at that for more than a few seconds, my eyes burn. I never found an extension for Chrome that fixed this.

I see you use multiple monitors, does Sizer play well with them? I discarded it cause I thought it did not support multimonitor setups well. My main use case is setting up some complex layout (in multimonitor), and be able to save it, and restore it when needed.

I would mention Total commander and Quick Access Popup as two well known ones, but two gems that I see are undiscovered are:

- TouchCursor https://martin-stone.github.io/touchcursor/ the only one I found that allows you to use Space as modifier key, and works flawlesly (with other ahk scripts handling hotkeys running simultaneously). Praying it does not stop working with some Win10 update, as it is not being worked one, it seems

- https://github.com/zsims/hunt-and-peck for more mouse free operation of any program.

They contacted me to see if I was interested in interviewing some months ago. I rejected cause I didn't intend to move to Amsterdam, and I asked why they were contacting me as I had no Perl experience at all. He said they have more and more java/python lately.

I have been wondering...does Slack freeze for like a couple of minutes a couple of days a day for someone else?

I am on win10, on pretty hefty machines. No idea if it's because Electron or something else, but it's really annoying. I could not find any trace of issues in the event viewer etc.

Issues I saw (it was months ago, maybe now it's better):

- was not clear what was the limit on the total size, I think it was supposed to be 50mb, but it was not exact.

- edit the lambda function code, and wait 10 min till it is uploaded by the eclipse plugin

- finally not being able to attach a debugger

On the plus side, once you had all up and running, I agree it worked nicely. I complain about the developer experience only.

not sure about the other versions but working with Java, Lambda is was quite a terrible experience (at least if you needed to include a bunch of jars for your work).

I contracted for a company with the same idea (I built the matching engine from incoming alerts to products in the db). It went under, that was 3 years ago. They were not focused on toys, though. I used mdesktop quite a long time ago, it was the best window manager without a doubt for me, tested all others I found.
