VIVE, is the modern concierge for the today's woman. We offer unlimited blowouts at NYC's top salons for a flat monthly fee ($99). We've competed at Disrupt NYC and have been featured in Fortune, Bazaar, Elite Daily, Allure, and more, and were also named as one of NYC's hottest startups by Business Insider.

Vive is hiring for Full Time RoR mid to senior level positions. Our tech stack is Ruby on Rails and we're planning on implementing new features in Node.js, React.js, and React Native. We're looking for well rounded engineers who are excited about what we're doing and want to join a great team of intelligent people. At Vive, we have a passion for working and playing hard.

Our current initiatives are to build out an API for our iOS application as well as build new features into our web app as we respond to feedback from our beta testers.

We're looking for engineers who have

- A love of test driven, agile development

- Discipline and an understanding of the importance of writing clean, maintainable code

- An ability to work in a fast paced, results focused start up

- A desire to jump between different emerging technologies

This is a big bummer to me. I asked Eivind if he is going to open source the site, and he said he will try, but he needs to write documentation as well as clean up the current release. Hopefully that will happen sooner than later. wasitup was so much easier to sign up for than any other service I've used.

I'm pretty excited they'll be turning their efforts in this direction. I remember one of the original reasons I dropped prototype/scriptaculous was because of the file size difference, so hopefully this will continue to keep it a lean, mean JavaScript machine.
