I’ve played around with this a bit in the past, and I think the biggest obstacle is going to be managing connections. Browser tabs are relatively short lived ‘peers’, each can only maintain about 100 simultaneous peer connections, and you can’t use WebRTC in workers.

Haven’t given up on the idea though!

I assume because `\{` was not a valid escape sequence, which means any use of this character pair can be identified as a template without changing the semantics of existing string literals.

I'm very interested in working in the genetics/biotech industry as a software engineer - how much specialist knowledge do you feel is required to approach that career path? My background is computer science, so I have been looking around at biochemistry courses which might be helpful.

Would love to pick your brain if you have the time :)
