There's an area in Kuala Lumpur that is called "Off Jalan Bangsar" in Google Maps (Jalan meaning street in Malay). It's obvious that Google's machine learning algorithm took what is name of the nearest major street for a district name.

Or Shenyang to Kunming which takes 18 hours on a train. But what's your point? Trains aren't meant to replace crosscontinetal flights. It would be better to compare regional routes like LA - SF which is super inconvenient.

Not really. Uber has its own stake in self-driving so it wouldn't make sense for them to help competition with data collection for short term gains.

I was surprised how cheap glasses can be when I moved to Malaysia. Back at home in Poland I was used to paying $100 to $250 for a pair of glasses. Here there are many home brands that offer good quality glasses for $50.

(My vision isn't very bad, so I'm mostly paying for fashion)
