The narcissism on display in this comment (in this instance, projecting one's high school resentments onto the author of the article) is a perfect example of why people are becoming more and more suspicious of and hostile towards Silicon Valley technologists - and note also the conflation of the technological progress in general with the Silicon Valley economic-political-industrial-cultural nexus.
