No. Every US based cruise I've ever been on or heard about has free meals. Its common to hear people talk about gaining 10 lbs on a cruise because they ate so much.

Wow. This seems like big news in the Bitcoin world to me. This means Apple is giving the green light to Bitcoin related apps in the iTunes store.

I wonder if Apple will start allowing entirely phone-based wallet apps now...

That is entirely dependent upon the value of one bitcoin.

The transaction fees for a block go to the miner.

If bitcoin is actively used in 2140 when the issue of new coins ceases, the value of even small fractions of a coin will likely be very high.

I thought that this was exactly the intention of the Tea Party's antics...

While I think its wonderful news that it has become a priority, I remain pessimistic. The geography of the valley cannot be changed and combined with the common high-pressure weather patterns the air is trapped for weeks at a time.

Even with massive cut-backs in emissions our industrial economy and expanding population ensures this will remain a problem long into the future.

I'll give another good reason to avoid living there: The air quality along the Wasatch Front (Ogden, Salt Lake, & Provo) is among the worst in the nation. http://www.stateoftheair.org/2013/city-rankings/most-pollute... ranks the Provo-Orem area as the 11th highest nationwide for short-term particle pollution (SLC being #6 and Logan being #10).

I left Salt Lake City 6 years ago. I miss many aspects of life there and have considered moving back. But the air quality there is an absolute deal breaker. The winter inversions are absolutely miserable.

Is this German law? I wish that were the case in the US, as I've found a number of wallets over the years and would have made at least a few hundred USD by now.

Without reading the headline, I knew it was Xmission.com.

The founder/owner, Pete Ashdown, was the sole Democrat running against Orin Hatch in 2006. He failed to get the democratic nomination in 2012.

Pete has long been an advocate of digital privacy and is a true Internet pioneer.
