on: Show HN: Cortex – Living Documentation for your Microservice Architecture
This is awesome, have been testing it out since private beta and it is a great tool to help any engineering organization to better manage their services. It is the system of records of your system of records :)

on: Building Payments for an Insurance Startup
This is a great read from Modern Treasury. One thing highlighted in this article that the industries not always talk about, is the concept of "Payment Ops". This is critical in FinServ organizations from my own experience. Any good and reliable payments infra is a function of technology, people, and process, and you need good tooling to streamline the whole workflow that involves engineering, finance, credit and compliance teams. Integrating with a payments API is only half of the definition of done.

on: Launch HN: Dockup (YC W19) – On demand staging environments for dev teams
Yea, I agree. Step 3 is not a trivial setup for early-stage startups. Glad to see devtools companies trying to tackle this.
At the company I worked at, we built something similar using Heroku free dynos :) So that you can tag a PR and it automatically created a staging app using free Heroku dyno, it even came with a free database. The setup works but also quite spotty.

This looks great, congrats on the launch!
All enterprise software companies should take notes, having a "Buy vs. Build" section on the website is incredibly useful and saves time on both sides.
