One of the most unknown tools (>10 years) http://sikulix.com/ It allows play mouse/keyboard event scrips BUT it allows to find components (coords) via screen OCR so you can make your scripts multi resolution/desktop independent. Also, it's Java based so you can play it multi SO.

Congrats! Great idea and clean implementation.

As a suggestion, same way you override default icon based on regexp, it would be useful if it could override also page title; i.e using facebook, web whatsapp in the office without (visually) being noticed :)

Moreover, you could add a preset of "useful" page overrides ;)

Of course, a untrusted proxy can do a mitm attack, getting access to all of your data. Even a trusted one! There are some famous cases as nokia https://gaurangkp.wordpress.com/2013/01/09/nokia-https-mitm/ or opera mini http://manurevah.com/blah/en/blog/Opera-Mini-MITM-attack

They say it is just for caching purposes (if the html data is encrypted they cannot serve cached images and so), but who knows what they do with your data as credit cards, etc.
