As someone that works in the VR industry where I think Apple can make the biggest difference would be in the self contained headset using their mobile components. Google is reportedly already doing this, http://techcrunch.com/2016/02/11/google-is-reportedly-buildi....

Think something like the Samsung Gear but an all in one headset thats nicely designed. Out of all the current available headsets, I think the PS is the best designed and best fitting. I think Apple could do better.

I've tried and used sumologic . It may not be appropriate for some companies because everything is sent and analyzed on their cloud infrastructure, but is a very good product.

I disagree, on the tangram aspect. Most games have an almost auto snap feature that if you drag the piece close enough it just snaps into place. I like the fact that it takes more of hand eye coordination and understanding of physical space for the physical objects to create the shapes on screen.

I don't know I just get the overwhelming feeling that a lot of people aren't parents in this thread. My daughter loves these types of puzzle games on our touch devices. As soon as I saw the video, I have a good feeling she will like it. Really it looks fun , and the word game looks like something we can do together. I'm excited about this product. I really could care less about the actual learning aspects and more interested in the technology + fun aspect.

i hate using the metric of downloads or users.. the most important metric that we don't get from mobile app companies is daily active users. Filters on android have become commodity, and I imagine a lot of users just installed to try and see what the hype is about.

google was willing to buy path for 100 million very early, which would of been primarily a talent acquisition. With Instagram's community, install base, along with a bidding war .. I don't see it as just a talent acquisition, but primarily the motivating factor. Plus it was for money and stock without really knowing what the percentages are.. facebook stock is valued pretty high these days.

i just create shortcuts to my home or frequent addresses. The major use case is not from frequent location A to frequent location B. The major use case is from random place A to frequent location B. Creating shortcuts on the dashboard to navigation has been the simplest solution, pretty much what you're doing here. Hold down on dashboard, create shortcut to location.

minalecs | 14 years ago | on: Google Music now available to everyone in the US

i think the difference is that for example vevo has ads supporting the music you listen/watch through the youtube channel. As of now there's not the ad alternative through google music.

as someone else said they did announce youtube integration through artists hub as well as linking to purchasing the track from youtube. http://music.google.com/artists/ - at the bottom is screenshot of what it will be like.
