I'm surprised this doesn't bother more people. Especially because facebook, etc. are so open about their policies. Holiday claims this will make Facebook go by the way of Myspace, but I'm not as sure. I think too many people are too invested.

I think people get so freaked out at the idea of doing anything out of the ordinary. If you end up trying to go your own way people discourage you because it brings up they're own fears. If you can stick to your guns, power to you.
