In my experience and if I'm remembering correctly, hehe and haha were equally common on the dial up BBSs. I've used both all these years.

I don't think the connotations have changed!

There must be obscure rules. The United States government can plausibly deny shutting down DPRK's Internet. ...It was barely plausible that there was a reason to shut it down.

There's numerous people and numerous ways for those people to respond to this attack. Maybe they're getting something ready or maybe they don't care.

In the analogy, people with children would be heavier and need another life vest (if they couldn't find another means to float).

I'm confused by your men vs. women thing. If a woman has a child, a man had one too.

You should try your best. If you fail, and you make someone uncomfortable, then everything that happens after that is based on your reaction to being informed of it.

Do you think the other person is full of shit? that they're out to get you? That there's far too much coddling of women and minorities in the world today?

Or are you honestly trying to do the right thing?

Here's two examples. Wadhwa met his criticism by saying that over sensitive feminists are hurting themselves and other women, that they're out to get him and stuff about slander.

That ESA engineer with the South Park t-shirt made an honest apology and probably made a lot of new friends.

I started Starting Strength because I didn't want to be sedentary anymore. I thought I would maintain my weights after a few months, but I soon realized that it feels good to move weight and then more weight. The satisfying part is the challenge.

You should try and get a 150lb bench press and then see if you would want a 200lb bench press and then a 235lb bench press. You might be a "male specimen" that sees no logic to strength, but neither should you be dismissive of people that like to be strong. (Some are women, by the way.)
