Unless you're bald or buzzed. I'd expect this thumb sized computer... to be covered by your hair either entirely or mostly. That is if it doesn't wrap around your head.

Looking at most devices people have used on their head & the capabilities of this?! I can't complain even one bit.

Is there an even better, more modern networking guide that's free (or not)? Does anyone have a list of networking reference/tutorial/introduction material?

The fact the Gabe was attacking W8 is because of Metro, not Windows 8 itself. I blame the sensationalist media from manipulating it into what it became.

The real threat is Metro, not Windows 8. It is the anti-freedom, walled garden that everyone should fear.

Yes, Steam works fine. However, Steam games are patchy. I've got at least half a dozen which no longer work because of W8. I tried all the fixes drummed up by the Steam community all for naught.

Reinstalled Windows 7. BAM everything works exactly how you'd expect. Hell, it's refreshing not having a fullscreen start menu which takes 2 seconds to start using due to the fade in effect and disorientation you get from transitioning to "Metro" from "Aero."

I whole heartily believe Windows 8 is a waste of money and time for desktop. It should've removed Aero and been Tablet only.

I almost fell out of my chair when you said "government people who can't control their own computers". That's just so wrong. No they refuse to change. Administrators have no excuses anymore.

If they literally couldn't control their computers, they would have to be terminators.

You should consider working with just paper instead of a some crappier digital painting program. You need to learn your fundamentals first & use a much better program.

Don't give me crap for recommending Photoshop because I use it and think it's bloody amazing with the things it can do.

I seriously recommend you pickup a trial of Photoshop and go through these,

- Learn some fundamentals anyway you can (huge number of tutorials for nearly anything online)

- http://www.wacom.asia/au :: If you're doing digital, get a tablet from these guys. Go bamboo if you're not rich.

- http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ :: This site teaches you a fair bit about Photoshop and drawing in general.

- http://theroundtablet.com/ :: Awesome for tablet owners and if you want to tutorials from professionals. Also has some nice brushes from well known artists.

- http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/ :: These folks are legendary. They're all over the industry & have some of the best teachers on the web. They cost a bit but it's worth it. Seriously recommended.

- http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?870-Journey-of-a... :: A real beginner to pro journey where some guy with little experience shares everything as he practices relentlessly. Possibly for the inspiration category...

INSPIRATION : These are great for games but also good for just coming up with a starting point for say, concept art. - http://chaoticshiny.com/ - http://donjon.bin.sh/

Perhaps you were an incompatible teacher? It happens all the time. One size does not fit all when it comes to teaching which is why we're so hit an' miss these days.

This will slow you down incredibly. Instead of ignoring your seniors/peers, QUESTION their "authoritative" commands. You will learn much, MUCH more that way. It also might put them in their place if they are massive egoists. Never feed the ego.

Public domain? I swear, I feel like I'm living in some kind of bizzaro world where everything copyrighted, trademarked, patented, cursed & sanctified... How is this even a dicussion?! We debating whether shaped are worth suing over & crying designs are worth this much. Am I the only one that sees how hilariously messed up this situation is?

Since it's absolutely impossible for anyone to legitimately relate to the proposed sentiments because in reality all people are is haters... That's what you're saying. So let's disregard any and all anecdotes.

I'm guessing you have a stake in this game, otherwise some random wouldn't just post this. To be honest, the only thing that REALLY caught my attention out of most (if not all) of the Greenlight nonsense was Routine. That game alone makes me cheer for 2013.

This game looks nice but what makes it different from the other rolling physics/puzzle games? It look damn nice and looks like it plays well, I'll give it that. It just doesn't stand out in any fantastic way (other than being made in Australia, awesome to the max). I hope your project turns out well.

Just remember, being the best playing/looking/story/style in any genre doesn't really cut it. All I see is a capable puzzle game which is for everyone. Which you means it lacks character and also means it's for no one. PERHAPS I'm just lacking actually information and it's a freaking masterpiece with a extremely mediocre trailer. I'll just stop now... All the best
